Variations will occur from order to order, as well as between color pictures and orders. When wood absorbs stain, the grain of the wood shows through the stain. This means that some areas appear darker, while some appear lighter, depending on the grain. This variation is part of the inherent beauty of stained, as opposed to painted, wood. Therefore, a set of hardware will contain color variations driven by wood grain of each piece.
